Thirty education agents from China, Vietnam, Cambodia, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong and Japan recently visited New South Wales (NSW) as part of a familiarisation tour aimed at showcasing the state’s education and lifestyle.
The agents spent a week, from 6-13 May 2023, in NSW and were able to explore some of the state's most iconic locations, including the Sydney Opera House and Taronga Zoo. They were also given the opportunity to visit several schools, where they were able to see firsthand the high quality of education on offer in NSW.
The agents were joined for several activities by NSW Government Schools International Student Ambassadors, who shared their experiences studying in NSW government schools and the opportunities and success they have enjoyed after completing the Higher School Certificate.
The tour was organised by DE International with the aim of promoting the many benefits of studying in NSW.
According to feedback received from the education agents, they were particularly impressed by the state's natural beauty, its relaxed lifestyle, and the outstanding quality of its schools. Many of the agents commented that the positive relationships between students and school staff created a safe and enjoyable learning environment that they would happily recommend to their clients.
DE International extends sincere thanks to all the agents and schools that participated in the week’s activities.
