The NSW Department of Education hosted its annual NSW Government Schools International Student Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 11 March 2025 at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia. The awards recognise the remarkable achievements and contributions of international students studying in NSW government schools and outstanding work by schools and staff in supporting them.

On Thursday 13 February 2025, DE International welcomed four outstanding alumni of NSW government schools to the NSW Government Schools International Student Ambassador Program (ISAP).

Seven international students have been selected as finalists in the 2025 NSW Government Schools International Student Awards. This year’s finalists represent six different NSW government schools and come from China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Fiji.
